This series of events invited visitors to explore the benefits of combining trees and crops in farming practices and take a tour around Higer Barn farm - a new agroforestry smallholding in the foothills of Exmoor National Park. Cerys Dehaini (Architect, Smallholder, and Permaculture Designer) shared the knowledge and experience she has gained so far through setting up various agroforestry systems on her family's 20 acre site near Roadwater. Provided on a number of dates throughout March, each session provided valuable insights on how we can all engage with sustainable agriculture and local food systems and how planting trees can give us hope for the future.
